Nicolas Kuhn, a forward who primarily plays as a right winger for Celtic, was born on 1 January 2000 in Germany. Standing at 5ft 9in (1.76m) tall and weighing 10st 12lb (69kg), Kuhn dons the number 10 jersey for the Bhoys. His current market value is around £8.5m, according to Transfermarkt. Kuhn kicked off his career in July 2015 as a trainee at RB Leipzig II in the Oberliga in Germany. He then moved to Jong Ajax in the Eerste Divisie in Netherlands in January 2018, for around £1.5m, where he eventually tallied up 43 first team appearances and netted seven goals in over two seasons.
In January 2020, Kuhn moved further up the ranks to Bayern München II in the Oberliga in Germany for an undisclosed fee. Here he made a respectable 37 first team appearances and managed six goals in the span of two seasons.
A loan spell to Erzgebirge Aue in the German third league materialised in July 2021. Over the course of a season, he appeared 27 times and scored three goals.
In July 2022, Rapid Vienna in the Bundesliga of Austria secured Kuhn's services for a modest sum of approximately £450k. During his season and a half in Vienna, he made a total of 36 first team appearances and scored five goals.
In January 2024, Kuhn found his way to the Premiership in Scotland, joining Celtic for a sum of around £3m. Since his arrival at Celtic Park, Kuhn has already made 35 appearances and netted an impressive twelve goals in under two seasons. This includes his formidable performance in the current season where he has bagged ten goals in 21 league matches.
Aside from his league duties, Kuhn also ply his trade in various tournaments for Celtic. He netted five times in four appearances during the League Cup 2024-2025, and appeared twice in the Scottish Cup the same season. Furthermore, he managed three goals in ten starts during the Champions League 2024-2025. All in all, it's clear to see that Kuhn has been steadily making his mark at Celtic.
