Matty Todd, born on 14 June 2001 (age 25), is a Scottish centre-midfielder now with St Johnstone. His current market value is around £149,000, according to Transfermarkt.
His senior career has been shaped mainly by Dunfermline Athletic. Early loan football helped give him his first run of proper senior minutes, but it was at East End Park that he became established rather than merely developed. Across four league seasons with Dunfermline, he made 97 league appearances and scored 17 goals.
The best return came in 2022-23, when Todd scored eight goals in 27 league appearances from midfield. That was the season which most clearly showed his value as more than a tidy central player, adding a useful goal threat without turning him into something he was not.
Todd’s move on to St Johnstone took him into the Premiership, but his career to this point is still anchored in his Dunfermline spell: a productive, steady body of work, built after the usual early loans and senior learning curve.
