Spanish striker, Iván Azón, born on the 24th of December in 2002 (now 22-years-old), currently leads the forward line for Como. Standing at a height of 1.81m (5ft 11in) and weighing 78kg (12st 3lb), he cuts an imposing figure on the pitch. Attuned to his number 90 jersey, Azón has previously spent his footballing years in his native Spain.
As per the estimations certified by Transfermarkt, Azón's market value hovers around £2.5m. The young striker still has the bulk of his contract with Como left, due to expire on the 30th of June, 2029.
In the twilight of his teens, Azón made his professional debut in the 2020 - 2021 season at Real Zaragoza where he wore the team's colours 30 times and found the back of the net thrice. He continued his form into the 2021 - 2022 season, making 35 appearances and improving his goal tally to seven. In the 2022 - 2023 season, his involvement was curtailed to 19 appearances, with three goals added to his name. The 2023 - 2024 season saw him return to form, donning the team jersey 35 times and scoring five goals. During the 2024 - 2025 season at Real Zaragoza, he managed to pull off 24 appearances and impressively scored seven goals.
Unfortunately for Celtic fans, Azón has never graced the hallowed turf at Celtic Park as a home player. A regret we might all share given his talent, but we'll nonetheless follow his career with interest from afar.
