Hugo Álvarez (born 2 July 2003, age 23) is a Spanish right winger whose career has been shaped almost entirely at Celta Vigo. Wearing squad number 23, he has become a regular part of the first-team picture rather than a passing academy name.
Across five seasons with Celta Vigo, Álvarez has made 70 league appearances and scored nine league goals. His strongest league return came in 2024-25, when he scored four times in 26 appearances, a useful contribution from wide areas without turning the volume up too far.
