Franculino Djú is a Guinea-Bissau striker, born on 28 June 2004 (age 22), whose senior career has been shaped almost entirely at FC Midtjylland.
The serious body of his work has come in Denmark. Across four seasons with Midtjylland, he has made 79 league appearances and scored 40 league goals, a strong return for a forward still early in his career. His best league season so far came in 2025–2026, when he scored 17 times in 21 appearances.
He remains involved in the first-team picture in 2026–2027. He has made three Superliga appearances, scoring once, along with two outings in Europa League qualifying, four in Conference League qualifying with two goals, and five Europa League appearances with three goals. That gives him 14 appearances and six goals for Midtjylland across all competitions this season.
He has also been active internationally, making seven appearances for Guinea-Bissau in African World Cup qualifying this season. His current market value is around £11m, according to Transfermarkt.
Franculino’s career remains centred on Midtjylland: regular football, steady goals, and a continuing role in a side that still uses him prominently.
