Emir Yaşar

Emir Yaşar, born on 16 January 2006 (age 20), is a Turkish goalkeeper with Besiktas. A commanding 6ft 3in (1.90m), he has the frame usually expected of a modern goalkeeper, though there is little need to dress that up beyond the obvious.

Wearing squad number 96, Yaşar remains at the early stage of a professional career at one of Turkey’s major clubs. His story, for now, is straightforward: a tall young Turkish keeper attached to Beşiktaş, with the rest still to be properly written on the pitch.
