Emir Han Topçu (born 11 October 2000, age 26) is a Turkish central defender whose senior career has been shaped above all by Besiktas. Before that, his clearest step forward came at Çaykur Rizespor, where he became a regular in 2023-24, making 32 league appearances and scoring once.
At Beşiktaş, Topçu has built the main body of his work. Across three league seasons he has made 56 appearances and scored three goals, a decent return for a defender whose job is not exactly to decorate scorelines. Wearing squad number 53, he has been used primarily through the middle of defence.
In 2026-27, he has made seven Süper Lig appearances and scored once, alongside five Europa League qualifier appearances and two in the Europa League proper. His form this season has been strong and consistent, which is usually the sort of thing a centre-half earns quietly rather than announces.
Topçu’s career is still a developing one, but its shape is already clear enough: regular football at Çaykur Rizespor, then a more substantial role at Beşiktaş, where he has become an established professional in Turkish football.
