Aral Şimşir, born on 19 June 2002 (age 23), is a compact Turkish left winger at FC Midtjylland, standing 5ft 7in (1.70m). His current market value is around £2.5m, according to Transfermarkt.
His career has been shaped overwhelmingly in Denmark with Midtjylland. Early loan football formed part of his development, but it is at Midtjylland that he has become a proper first-team player rather than another academy name passing through. Across six seasons, he has made 96 league appearances and scored 18 league goals for the club.
The 2025-2026 season has been his most productive league campaign so far, with nine goals in 31 Superliga appearances. He has also remained involved in Europe, adding six Europa League qualifying appearances with two goals and 10 Europa League appearances with one goal. In all competitions for Midtjylland this season, he has made 47 appearances and scored 12 goals.
Şimşir remains a regular part of the FC Midtjylland side. His career is still developing, but its shape is already clear enough: a Turkish winger whose senior football has been defined by a long, steady rise at one Danish club.
