Alfons Amade, born on 12 November 1999 (age 26), is a Mozambique international midfielder with Dunfermline Athletic. Primarily used in central midfield, he wears the number 14 shirt and remains a regular first-team presence in the 2025-26 season.
Before his time in Scotland, Amadeβs most productive league campaign came at Oostende in 2021-22, when he scored two goals in 18 appearances. That remains the outlier in a career built more on involvement and reliability than goals from midfield.
At Dunfermline, he has been heavily used this season, making 28 Championship appearances and 42 in all competitions without scoring. His campaign has also taken in League Cup, Scottish Cup and play-off football, so he has hardly been on the fringes.
Amade has also stayed involved with Mozambique, making eight appearances in African World Cup qualifying this season and scoring once. His profile is straightforward enough: an established professional midfielder, still playing regular football for club and country.
