Yaser Asprilla is a Colombian right winger, born on 19 November 2003 (age 22), now with Girona. He is valued at around £10m by Transfermarkt, which tells you there is still a fair bit of expectation attached to him.
His strongest league season so far came at Watford in 2023-24, when he scored six goals in 44 appearances. That was a proper workload for a young attacker, and it gave a clearer picture of him as more than just a tidy wide player with promise.
He later moved on to Girona, where his 2026-27 return has been sharp: six Segunda División appearances and four goals. Celtic were linked with a move for Asprilla in January 2026, though that sits in the usual category of transfer interest rather than anything more concrete.
Asprilla’s career is still taking shape, but the outline is clear enough: a Colombian wide player who built senior experience at Watford and is now trying to make that productivity count at Girona.
