O'Hora's journey in professional football began in earnest with Bohemian FC in the Premier Division in the Republic of Ireland. Initially joined as a trainee, he signed his first contract in January 2016. His debut season in 2017 witnessed him making 11 first-team appearances in league matches.
In January 2018, he made his way across the Irish Sea to English side Brighton & Hove Albion, signing for an undisclosed fee. The switch would prove to be a stepping stone for O'Hora, with the next move taking him on loan to MK Dons in England's League Two in August 2020.
While with MK Dons in the 2022 - 2023 season, O'Hora made 25 first-team appearances in league matches, impressing enough to open the scoring account for his career with a solitary league goal.
Such was the impact of the loan stint that MK Dons decided to make him a permanent member of the squad in January 2021, again for an undisclosed fee. Returning to the club for the 2022 - 2023 season, O'Hora's stats remained consistent: making 25 first-team league appearances and scoring once.
O'Hora's career took a northward turn, literally, in July 2024 when he transferred from MK Dons to the Scottish Premiership outfit, Hibernian. In the ongoing season of 2024 - 2025, he has made 30 first team league appearances and netted goal, indicating an invigorating phase in his career.
In addition to his league responsibilities, O'Hora also featured in the 2024 - 2025 iterations of the League Cup and Scottish Cup for Hibernian. With one goal from five starts in the former and two starts in the latter, O'Hora certainly demonstrated his versatility across different competitive fronts.
