Victor Jensen, born on 8 February 2000, is a footballer hailing from Denmark. He plies his trade as a central midfielder for FC Utrecht, wearing the number 7 jersey. Jensen is of modest stature, standing at 5ft 8in (1.75m) and weighing 10st 3lb (65kg). In addition to his club responsibilities, he has had the honour of representing the Denmark national team.
Jensen has managed to carve out a respectable reputation in the football world, currently holding a market value of approximately £2.15m, according to Transfermarkt.
The promising Dane's football journey saw him move to Ajax in the Eredivisie, Netherlands, in July 2017. However, his first team opportunities were limited, making only one appearance in both the 2020-2021 and 2021-2022 seasons.
Seeking more game time, a loan move transpired in February 2021, which saw Jensen return to his home country, joining FC Nordsjaelland in the Superliga. He made an impact in his stint there, with 18 first team appearances and three goals in the same season. Upon completion of his loan spell, he returned to Ajax. However, his situation remained unchanged, accruing just two appearances across two seasons.
In March 2022, another loan switch had Jensen packing his bags, this time heading for Norwegian side, Rosenborg. He thrived in the unfamiliar surroundings of the Eliteserien, making 28 appearances and registering five goals in the process.
His performance caught the attention of FC Utrecht back in the Eredivisie. They secured his services in January 2023 for an undisclosed fee. Jensen has since become a prominent figure, having made 77 first team appearances and 15 goals across three and a half seasons. In the ongoing 2025 - 2026 season, he has already made eight appearances and netted five times.
Aside from his league contributions, Jensen has also showcased his talents on the European stage by taking part in the Europa League Qualifiers 2025 - 2026, where he scored five goals in six starts. His performances in the KNVB Beker 2025 - 2026 were equally impressive, scoring once in two appearances.
