The Colombian forward Vicente Besuijen, born on 10 April 2001, currently plays as a right winger for Aberdeen at the tender age of 23. Besuijen stands 5ft 6in tall (approximately 1.7m) and weighs in at a trim 9st 12lb (equivalent to 63kg). He dons the number 17 jersey for his Scottish team.

Besuijen took his first footballing steps in Italy, joining Roma as a trainee in August 2017. Come August 2020, he was on the move again, this time transferring to ADO Den Haag in the Dutch Eerste Divisie. His debut season at ADO Den Haag saw him make 30 first team appearances and score one goal in league matches. He followed this up with a further 22 appearances and six goals in the 2021 - 2022 season.
In January 2022, Besuijen took flight yet again, transferring from ADO Den Haag to Aberdeen in Scotland, a fee for this transaction has been kept under wraps. His first season in Scotland saw him take to the field 16 times and contribute two goals. The following season, he made 18 appearances and added a further three goals. This season, 2024 - 2025, he has made seven appearances and scored one goal.
Not quite settling into life in Aberdeenshire, in January 2023, Besuijen transferred to Excelsior in the Dutch Eerste Divisie on loan, making two first team appearances. On the completion of his loan, he returned to Aberdeen in June 2023, where he has since made 34 appearances across two seasons and scored six goals. He was also loaned out again in January 2024, this time to FC Emmen in the Netherlands, where he made 15 appearances and scored five goals.
Upon the completion of this loan, he returned yet again to Aberdeen in June 2024. To date, in his current season at Aberdeen, Besuijen has made seven appearances and scored one goal. In addition, he also started once and made two substitute appearances in the League Cup for Aberdeen during the 2024 - 2025 season.
