Toyosi Olusanya, born 1st February 1998 in England, is a forward currently plying his trade at Doncaster Rovers. Despite his 5ft 11in (1.81m) stature and a weight of 10st 9lb (68kg), Olusanya is conspicuously fleet-footed on the pitch. The number 30 jersey has been his chosen armour throughout his career.
Our story begins in July 2015 when Olusanya joined AFC Wimbledon in the English League One. His debut 2015 - 2016 season saw him make a single appearance and score one goal in league matches. In November of the following year, 2016, he moved down a level, on loan to Kingstonian in the Lower Leagues.
A series of transfers in the lower tiers of English football followed, with Olusanya moving to Gosport Borough in March 2018, Bishop's Stortford in July 2018, and then Cheshunt in July 2019. By July 2020, he had moved to Billericay Town in the Southern Football League.
In August 2021, Olusanya ascended to Middlesbrough in the Championship, making three first team appearances during the 2021 - 2022 season.
Moving north, Olusanya transferred to St Mirren in the Scottish Premiership in July 2022. Here, he made his mark with a total of 67 league appearances and 14 goals over three seasons. This spell was briefly interrupted by a loan to Arbroath in the Championship in January 2023, where he made nine appearances and scored one goal.
In April 2025, Olusanya's tour of Britain ended as he crossed the Atlantic for a stint with Houston Dynamo in the MLS, a deal sealed with an undisclosed fee. Here, he made six appearances in the 2025 season.
Olusanya is currently back on English soil, loaned to Doncaster Rovers in League One for the 2025 - 2026 season. Seven matches into the season, he has already made his mark. He has also participated in the League Cup and EFL Trophy for Doncaster Rovers.
