Toyosi Olusanya, born 1st of February 1998, is a forward plying his trade mainly in the position of left winger for St. Mirren. An Englishman, Olusanya stands at 5ft 11in (1.81m) and tips the scales at 10st 9lb (68kg). His shirt, bearing the number 20, has already seen a fair bit of action this season.
For the current season (2024-2025), Olusanya has graced the Premiership pitch in a St. Mirren shirt three times, managing to net one goal. His performance in various cup competitions has also been noteworthy. During the League Cup of the same season, he had one start. In the Scottish Cup of the previous season (2023-2024), he made an appearance as a substitute. And in the Conference League Qualifiers for the current season, he found the back of the net twice after three starts and one substitute appearance.
Olusanya's career began in earnest at AFC Wimbledon in England. During the 2015-2016 season, his debut season, he made an impression by scoring in his solitary first-team appearance. After several quiet years, he reprised his role on the first team for Middlesbrough in the 2021-2022 season with three appearances.
His journey north of the border commenced in the 2022-2023 season, where he wore the St. Mirren shirt once and then made nine first-team appearances for Arbroath, netting one goal. But it was in the following season (2023-2024) that Olusanya truly made his mark in Scotland. Representing St. Mirren, he stepped onto the pitch 35 times and put away six goals. His current season at St. Mirren is still ongoing, with three appearances and one goal so far to his name.
