The stoic midfielder, Tommaso Pobega, was born on 15 July 1999 in Italy, and aged 26, currently plays for Bologna. Standing 1.88m (or 6ft 2in for those of us yet to embrace the metric system) and tipping the scales at 75kg (around 11st 11lb), he commands the pitch wearing the number 4 jersey.

Pobega cut his teeth at AC Milan in the Serie A, joining as a trainee back in July 2013. During his time there, particularly the seasons from 2022 to 2024, he made a total of 30 first-team appearances while putting two goals into the back of the net.
In July 2019, he was loaned to Pordenone in the Serie C, where he made 31 first team appearances and netted five league goals in his debut season. A return to AC Milan in August 2020 saw him once again hitting the pitch regularly and adding another 2 goals to his tally.
His next move came in September 2020, moving on loan to Spezia in the Serie B. Pobega made 20 appearances in the 2020-2021 season, putting the ball into the net six times.
Pobega continued to dance around the Italian leagues, returning to AC Milan in June 2021, again getting regular game time and adding to his goal tally. His travels continued with a loan to Torino in the Serie A in August 2021, where he made 33 starts and bagged four goals.
After bouncing back to AC Milan in June 2022, he finally found his footing at Bologna in the Serie A, initially on loan in August 2024. Despite further brief returns to AC Milan, Pobega has remained consistent during the 2024 - 2025 and 2025 - 2026 seasons at Bologna, making 37 appearances and contributing four goals.
Off the league pitch, Pobega has participated in the Coppa Italia 2025 - 2026 for Bologna with one appearance as a substitute, started the Supercoppa 2025 - 2026 twice for Bologna, and featured in the Europa League 2025 - 2026 with three starts and one appearance as a substitute.
