Tommaso Baldanzi, born on 23 March 2003 (age 23), is an Italian attacking midfielder whose senior career has taken shape mainly at Roma. Compact at 5ft 7in (1.70m), he wears squad number 35 and is valued at around £8.5m by Transfermarkt.
His most productive league season came earlier at Empoli in 2022-2023, when he scored four goals in 26 appearances. That gave him a firmer platform than most young creative midfielders get, and Roma became the club where his top-level career began to carry real weight.
Across three seasons with Roma, Baldanzi has made 64 league appearances and scored three league goals. In 2025-2026 he has remained in the first-team picture, with 10 league appearances and one goal for Roma, eight league appearances for Genoa, then a further 10 league appearances and one goal after returning to Roma.
Baldanzi remains a developing but established Serie A player: useful between the lines, still building consistency, and currently relevant at Roma rather than merely attached to the squad.
