Thomas Hatton, born on 2 August 2006 (age 20), is a Scottish left winger who came through at Celtic as a trainee. That early Celtic connection is the starting point of his career, though his senior football has begun to take shape away from the club.
He has spent the 2026-27 season on loan at Ayr United, wearing number 17. In that spell he has made six Championship appearances, a modest but useful step into regular senior football.
Hatton’s profile remains a young one: Celtic-developed, now getting league minutes elsewhere, and still at the stage where the career is being built rather than judged. His Transfermarkt page records the outline, but the substance will come from what he does with those first-team chances.
