Thomas Beelen, hailing from the Netherlands, saw the light of day on 11 June 2001 making him a spraddle of 24 years this year. This Dutchman has carved a niche for himself as a competent defensive stalwart, more precisely as a central defender for Feyenoord. Impressively, he tips the scales at 81kg (12st 10lb) while his stature looms large over most at 1.9 metres (6ft 2in). Unquestionably, a sight to behold on the pitch especially in his number 3 jersey.
As suggested by Transfermarkt, the price tag affixed to his name is quoted at approximately €8.00m, which translates to about £7m.
His footballing journey began in earnest during the 2021 - 2022 season with PEC Zwolle, where Beelen got his first taste of competitive football making three first team appearances. His maiden goal however would come in a memorable 2022 - 2023 season with the same club, playing in 30 matches.
In the 2023 - 2024 season, Beelen took his talents to Feyenoord, with 20 first team appearances to his name, followed by another fruitful season the subsequent year where he notched up 25 appearances and another goal to boot. As such, the current 2025 - 2026 season doesn't seem to have accommodated any first team appearances from Beelen as yet.
Towards the back-end of the 2023 - 2024 season, his involvement in European football competitions began to manifest. He participated in the Champions League and Europa League for Feyenoord, earning himself a single start and two starts respectively. Furthermore, Beelen had two starts in the 2024 - 2025 KNVB Beker tournament, demonstrating his reliability for Feyenoord.
