Sol Brynn, born on 30 October 2000 (age 25), is an English goalkeeper whose career has been shaped chiefly by Middlesbrough. He wears squad number 31 and is valued at around £7.5m, according to Transfermarkt.
His time away from Middlesbrough has mattered, particularly the 2022-2023 season at Swindon Town, where he made 34 league appearances. That spell gave him a proper run of senior football rather than the usual goalkeeper’s diet of patience and cup minutes.
Middlesbrough, though, remain the main thread. Brynn has made 52 league appearances for the club across three seasons, and in 2026-2027 his involvement has included one FA Cup appearance, three in the League Cup and three in the Championship play-offs.
At this stage, Brynn’s career is a Middlesbrough one with a useful Swindon season in the middle. He is an established professional goalkeeper rather than a name requiring embroidery.
