Sem Steijn, born on 12 November 2001 (age 24), is a Dutch attacking midfielder with Feyenoord, where he wears No 14. He is valued at around £13.5m by Transfermarkt.
His career to this point is shaped mainly by FC Twente. Across three seasons there, he made 94 league appearances and scored 47 goals, a return well above the usual output for a midfielder in his role. His most productive season came in 2024-25, when he scored 24 league goals in 33 appearances.
At Feyenoord in 2026-27, Steijn has made four Eredivisie appearances and one Champions League appearance, scoring in Europe. In total, he has five appearances and one goal for the club across all competitions. The broad outline is clear enough: a Dutch attacking midfielder whose reputation has been built chiefly on his goal threat from midfield at FC Twente.
