Scott Wright, born on 8 August 1997 (age 28), is a Scottish right winger now with Birmingham City, where he wears the number 11 shirt. He came through at Aberdeen, with an early loan spell at Dundee giving him the sort of regular senior football young wide players usually need before anyone can make much sense of them.
That development eventually took him to Rangers, where his best league return came in 2021-2022: four goals in 19 appearances. He was never exactly the central pillar at Ibrox, but he did collect a Premiership title, a Scottish Cup and a League Cup there, which is more silverware than many more loudly discussed players manage.
By 2025-2026 his career had moved on again. He made nine league appearances and scored once for Dundee, then added three league appearances for Birmingham City. His path has been a fairly recognisable one: promise at Aberdeen, useful experience on loan, a spell at Rangers with medals attached, and a move south as he looks for steadier football at Birmingham.
