Scott McKenna, born on 12 November 1996 (age 29), is a Scotland centre-half with Dinamo Zagreb. His current market value is around £3.5m, according to Transfermarkt.
McKenna’s early development included loan football before he established himself properly at Aberdeen. The 2017–18 season was his most productive league campaign there, with three goals in 30 appearances, and it helped set him up as a senior defender rather than just another prospect waiting for minutes.
At Dinamo Zagreb in 2025–26, he remains a regular first-team presence. He has made 40 appearances in all competitions, including 30 in the HNL and 10 in the Europa League, scoring twice. He has also stayed involved with Scotland, making five appearances in European World Cup qualifying this season.
McKenna was linked with a move to Celtic in May 2026 while at Dinamo Zagreb. For now, his career is that of an established Scottish defender who has moved from Aberdeen development into regular club and international football.
