His time with Galatasaray saw him dominate the club's right-back position, competing in 63 league matches and netting two goals along the way. The 2022-2023 season was particularly eventful for Boey, during which he amassed a dramatic 31 appearances.
In an exciting career development, Boey was transferred in January 2024 to the famed Bundesliga heavyweight Bayern Munich for a whopping £26m. Although he only played in two matches in his maiden season (2023-2024), Boey quickly found his footing, making eight appearances in the ongoing 2024-2025 season.
