Rudi Molotnikov, born on the 23rd of May 2006, is a Scottish native known for his skills on the football pitch. Aged 18, Molotnikov stands at an average 5ft 10in (1.79m) with a weight of around 10st 5lb (66kg). Respected for his versatile skill set, the midfielder primarily operates centrally in an attacking role and is currently plying his trade at Hibernian, donning the number 35 jersey.
Molotnikov's journey with Hibernian began in July 2021, establishing himself within the Premiership side in Scotland. His debut season at Hibernian, the 2023-2024 campaign, saw him take to the pitch on three occasions in the league. Presently, in the 2024-2025 season, the young midfielder has already been featured 11 times in league matches.
February 2024 marked a brief divergence from his Hibernian narrative as Molotnikov was loaned out to Stirling Albion in Scotland's League Two. His stint with Stirling Albion was, however, short-lived, as he returned to Hibernian in the Premiership come June 2024. His reintegration into the side appeared to go smoothly, as mirrored by his appearances that season.
While his exploits in the league continue to impress, Molotnikov has also made a name for himself in cup competitions during the 2024-2025 campaign. The young Scot had a commendable run during the League Cup, wherein he scored two goals over four starts, also making an appearance as a substitute. Mirroring his League Cup success, he also showcased his scoring prowess in the Scottish Cup for Hibernian, netting once in a single start.
