Meet Ross Graham, Scottish-born on the 20th of February 2001. This 24-year-old lad, who primarily plays as a central defender for Dundee United, is a towering figure perhaps standing at 6ft 4in (1.94m) and carries about 12st 12lb (82kg) on the field. The number 6 jersey, should you spot it, would be the one to track. Let's ignore the scenic beauty of Scotland, Lochs, Kilt, and Bagpipes, just for a moment. We're talking football here after all.
According to a popular coffee-break indulgence for football enthusiasts, Transfermarkt, the spry young lad is valued around £470k (that's €550k for our Continental mates).
Graham joined Dundee United back in July 2017, presumably to fulfil his childhood fantasy of damp, cold Scottish mornings, and the glamour of Scottish Premiership. Since his 2021 - 2022 debut, he made 15 first-team appearances, scoring twice. In the following seasons - 2022-2023, 2023-2024 and 2024-2025, Ross has maintained a steady 15-18 match appearance frequency with sporadic goals – only a Dutch treat in 2024-2025 with four goals. As of the current season, 2025 - 2026, he’s already made 10 first-team appearances and found the back of the net twice.
Just like the Scottish summer, Ross couldn’t resist taking a couple of breaks. He transferred to Elgin City in January of 2020 on a loan stint only to return to Dundee United in June. As you can guess, he was back on his game with regular appearances and accompanying goals. But by October the same year, perhaps drawn by the sea-air or just for the heck of it, Ross transferred to Cove Rangers. His stay was short and by January 2021, he returned to Dundee United bringing his unmatched expertise.
However, his roving spirit unquenched, Graham transferred on loan again in March 2021, back to the Cove Rangers. A brief sea-sojourn perhaps. Whatever the reason, he returned in June to Dundee United. Anyone noticing the pattern? Well, just a few months later in July, tempted by the allure of the Championship, he joined Dunfermline Athletic, a shorter counsel this time, returned by January 2022 to Dundee United. Quite a round trip indeed.
If you are into Scottish Cup 2025 - 2026 tracking, remember our wandering lad, Ross, because he participated there too with one start for Dundee United.
