Regan Charles-Cook, born on the 1st March 1997 in England, is a forward most often seen thundering down the left wing for Motherwell. The 28-year-old stands at a nimble 5 feet 8 inches (1.75m) and tips the scales at 10 stone 12 pounds (69kg).
The finance of football is a murky realm indeed - according to Transfermarkt, Charles-Cook's market value currently hovers around £650,000, a figure undoubtedly subject to the whims of the modern game.
Charles-Cook first found himself packing up his boots and moving clubs back in February 2017 when he was shipped out on loan from Charlton Athletic to Solihull Moors. During his brief sojourn in the National League, Charles-Cook clocked up a respectable 13 first team appearances and netted four goals.
In a familiar tale of the modern loan system, August 2017 saw yet another move for Charles-Cook. Retracing his steps back to Charlton Athletic, he was swiftly sent packing again, this time to Woking. Again appearing 13 times in the first team, he matched his previous season's tally with four league goals.
Upon returning to Charlton Athletic in July 2018, the call came for a more permanent move. Charles-Cook collected his things and set off for Gillingham, leaving behind the Championship to ply his trade in League Two.
Yet, the constant clamour of moving vans became a familiar sound for Charles-Cook. In July 2020, he bade farewell to Gillingham and ventured northwards, to join Ross County in the SPL. Over two seasons in the Highlands, he made an impressive 63 league appearances, scoring a menacing 13 goals in his final season.
After two seasons at Ross County, Charles-Cook packed his suitcase for international duty, transferring to Belgian outfit Eupen in July 2022. Over two seasons, he graced the turf 57 times and netted a modest nine goals.
Yet, the lure of Scotland proved irresistible and in August 2025, Motherwell called out to Charles-Cook. Linking up with 'the Steelmen', he has yet to make a league appearance in the current season of 2025 - 2026. Time alone will tell the tale of Charles-Cook's success with his new club.
