Raúl Moro, also known as Raúl Moro Prescoli, is a Spanish-born footballer currently donning the number 11 jersey for Real Valladolid. Born on 5 December 2002, the 22-year-old talent resorts to playing as a left-winger and holds a reputation of a reliable forward, driving down opposing defences. Moro, standing tall at a stature of 5ft 10in (1.8m) and weighing 10st 3lb (65kg), also exhibits his football prowess on an international stage representing the Spain U21 national team.
The market valuation of Moro, according to Transfermarkt, sits around £4.5m. His contract with Real Valladolid is due to expire several summers from now on 30 June 2028.
Moro's journey to his current club began with a transfer from Barcelona to Lazio in Serie A for a fee of £5m in August 2019. His debut season (2019 - 2020) with Lazio saw him making a single first-team appearance, a pattern that repeated in the 2020 - 2021 season. However, he made a significant leap in the 2021 - 2022 season with 11 appearances.
In a series of temporary switches, Moro then spent time at Italian Serie C side Ternana on loan in the 2022 - 2023 season, where he featured in 12 league matches and opened his scoring account. Halfway through the same season, he switched gear to Spain's Segunda División, featuring for Real Oviedo and making 16 team appearances. He then spent the 2023 - 2024 season at Real Valladolid, initially on loan, making 30 first team appearances and achieving a modest return of two goals.
In July 2024, Real Valladolid saw enough promise in the young Spaniard to make his switch from Lazio permanent, for a fee of around £1.5m. Moro proved his worth in the current 2024 - 2025 season, improving his tally to four goals in 33 league appearances.
Aside from his domestic duties, Moro also made appearances in the Copa del Rey 2024 - 2025 for Real Valladolid, contributing one goal. He also stepped up in the UEFA U21 Championship Qualifiers 2024 - 2025 for Spain U21, with one start and two appearances off the bench, reinforcing his versatility and potential for the future.
