Bulgarian defender Plamen Galabov, born on 2 November 1995, is currently part of the defensive force at Dundee, bearing the number 25 on his jersey. Galabov embarked on his professional football journey in 2013 with Litex Lovech, a club in the Second League of Bulgarian football. In his first season (2013 - 2014), Galabov managed to make one first team league appearance. He went on to make 17 appearances, finding the back of the net twice in the 2014 - 2015 season, while his participation fell slightly to ten first team appearances in the 2015 - 2016 season.
A move to CSKA Sofia, a collective in the Bulgarian First League, was next on the cards for Galabov in July 2016. His performances at the club varied over the next few years, ranging from 19 appearances in the 2020 - 2021 season to 7 appearances in the 2021-2022 term. However, interwoven in his time at CSKA Sofia were loan spells at Etar Veliko Tarnovo in the Bulgarian Second League in the 2017 - 2018 and 2018 - 2019 seasons delivering a total of 16 performances.
In 2022, Galabov’s career took a geographical shift westward as he signed a deal with Maccabi Netanya, a club in the top flight of Israeli football. Our lad had seemingly become a bit of a nomad on the pitch, moving from Maccabi Netanya to Beitar Jerusalem in the Israeli Premier League in February 2024, before joining Maccabi Petah Tikva in the Liga Leumit in Israel for an undisclosed fee in July 2024.
In July 2025, Galabov swapped the Middle Eastern sun for the rains of Scotland in the Premiership with Dundee. As of now in the 2025 - 2026 season, he is yet to make his debut appearance for the Scottish club.
