Let's take a wee jaunt to delve into the vastly 'impressive' biography of one Paul Nsio. This English-bred lad, blessed (or perhaps cursed, depending on how you view playing for those blue-shirted folk across Glasgow) with the talent to kick a ball about, was begrudgingly brought into existence on the 15th of March, 2006. Yes, you heard it right, he's a fresh-faced 18-year-old, a veritable spring chicken, caught in the headlights of Scottish football.
Nsio spends his weekdays and often Saturday afternoons too, performing acrobatics in the midfield for, ahem, Rangers, pocketing a tidy sum, no doubt, for the pleasure. In fact, his chosen position is apparently that of a central midfielder, donning the rather ostentatious number 55 on his jersey. Thereabouts lies the limit of the young Englishman's audaciousness though, as he certainly hasn't dared to cross the Celtic Park barracks in his short tenure.
Moreover, his indenture to Rangers, bless his heart, is quite short of running its course, with only 1 year and 5 months remaining. This labour of love, or servitude - different storefronts, same goods - is slated to conclude on the 31st of May, 2026. Ah, to be young and locking horns with time! Makes one yearn for the halcyon days of Celtic's clear dominance, doesn't it?
Now, Paul Nsio hasn't yet had the misfortune of gracing Glasgow in green and white hoops - and mayhap 'tis for the best - for our dear Celtic supporters do have a particular sense of taste when it comes to their midfield maestros. Then again, the lad's got youth on his side. Only time will tell if fortune favours him and lands him in the Celtic Park midriff. Until then, he remains locked in a tango with Rangers, dancing to the tunes of demands and deliveries. Best of luck to him, the lamb...
