Pau Torres, known as 'Pau Torres' Francisco Torres, is a Spanish footballer whose birthplace is Spain. Born on 16 January 1997, he is now 28 years of age. Torres is renown as a central defender and is currently actively playing for Aston Villa. Boasting an impressive height of 6ft 3in (1.92m) and tipping the scales at 12st 8lb (80kg), he dons the number 14 jersey. He has also had the honour of representing the Spain national team.

In July 2015, he made his first professional move by joining Villarreal in the LaLiga in Spain, where he remained for several seasons. In the following seasons: 2019 - 2020, he made 34 appearances scoring two goals; in 2020 - 2021, he scored another two goals from 33 appearances; in 2021 - 2022, he netted five goals from 33 appearances; and in 2022 - 2023, he secured 34 appearances scoring one goal.
During August 2018, he had a brief stint with Malaga in the Segunda División in Spain where he was loaned to from Villarreal. During his season at Malaga (2018 - 2019), he racked up 38 appearances scoring one goal.

Later in July 2023, he was transferred from Villarreal to the reputable Aston Villa in the Premier League in England for a deal valued at around £32m. In his first season (2023 - 2024) at Aston Villa, he made 29 team appearances, scoring two goals. In the current season of 2024 - 2025, he has already chalked up 18 appearances in league matches.
