Camara's professional career took off in July 2017, when he transitioned from Dulwich Hamlet, a football club in the lower tiers of English football, moving towards League Two outfit Crawley Town. The exact figures that changed hands remain undisclosed. He then went on to make his mark during the 2017-2018 season at Crawley Town, securing 18 appearances on the first team in league matches.
August 2020 saw Camará on the move again, this time from Crawley Town to Plymouth Argyle, making his way up to League One in English football.
His ascent continued as, in September 2022, he transferred from Plymouth Argyle to Ipswich Town, a club playing in the Championship, England’s second tier of professional football. This move set Ipswich back by nearly £500k. During the 2022-2023 season at Ipswich Town, Camará managed to make a solitary first team appearance in league matches.
A year later, in July 2023, Camará left Ipswich to join Charlton Athletic, another Championship side, albeit on loan. However, in August 2024, he discovered it was time to return, finding himself back at Crawley Town in League Two. During the 2017-2018 season with them, he had left an impression by making 18 appearances for the first team in league matches.
In July 2025, an undisclosed fee secured Camará's move to Dundee United who play in the Premiership, the top tier of Scottish football. As of the ongoing 2025-2026 season, he has already made seven appearances in league games for Dundee United. In the same season, he has also participated in the League Cup, with one appearance as a substitute. Apart from this, he has stood out in the Conference League Qualifiers, starting in three games and making one appearance as a substitute.
