Owen Beck, born on 9 August 2002 and hailing from Wales, serves as a steadfast defender for Liverpool - primarily occupying the position of left back. At a reasonable 5ft 9in (1.77m) tall and a healthy 11st 2lb (71kg), Beck carries the honour of the number 63 jersey on his young shoulders. Not only has he made strides for Liverpool, but he has also been recognised at the national level, representing Wales proudly.
Reference site Transfermarkt places his current market value around £1.1m, testament to his promise and potential. Liverpool clearly shares this sentiment, keeping him locked down with them until his contract expires on the 31st of May, 2025.
Beck's football journey started in earnest when he joined Liverpool as a trainee back in July 2015. Fast forward to the 2023 - 2024 season, he made his first appearance in the Liverpool first-team in a league match - a momentous milestone for any young player. Looking ahead to the 2025 - 2026 season, Beck is set to continue his journey with Liverpool.
Somewhere in-between, in July 2022, Beck sought a different experience, transferring from Liverpool to Portuguese Liga team, Famalicao, on loan. He then moved on another loan spell to Bolton Wanderers in League One of England in August 2022 where he made five appearances in league matches in the debut season.
After his time at Bolton Wanderers, Beck returned to Liverpool in January 2023. His time at Dundee was more fruitful; after initially transferring there on loan in July 2023, he made 25 appearances and even netted two goals in league matches before again returning to Liverpool.
In a rerun of a past move, Beck transferred back to Dundee once more on loan in January 2024, this time matching his previous performance with another 25 appearances and two goals. Subsequently, after a successful loan spell, he returned to Liverpool in June 2024.
Beck sought further experience when he transferred on loan to Blackburn Rovers in August 2024. Currently in the 2024 - 2025 season, Beck is already impressing, with 24 appearances and one goal in league matches to his name.
In line with the trend, upon the conclusion of this loan spell in June 2025, Beck is set to return to Liverpool to continue his progress. Beck's promising career is now set to continue where it began, at Liverpool, in the 2025 - 2026 season.
