Owen Beck, born on the 9th of August 2002 in Wales, currently represents Blackburn Rovers as a defender, primarily playing as a left back. Standing at 5ft 9in (1.77m) tall and weighing in at 11st 2lb (71kg), Beck holds the number 24 jersey. In addition to his club commitment, Beck has had the honour of representing the Welsh national team.
According to Transfermarkt, Beck's current market value hovers around the £1m mark. His contract with Blackburn Rovers is set to expire on the 31st of May, 2025, with 8 months left to run.
Beck's footballing journey began in July 2015 as a trainee at Liverpool, a Premier League club in England. His time at Liverpool, however, only saw him making one first-team league match appearance in the 2023-2024 season.
In July 2022, Beck found himself on loan to Famalicao in the Liga Portugal, marking his first temporary departure from Liverpool. This was closely followed by another loan in August 2022 to Bolton Wanderers in the English League One. Despite the rapid transition, Beck managed to make five first-team appearances in league matches for Bolton Wanderers in the 2022-2023 season.
January 2023 brought Beck back to Liverpool, following the completion of his loan with Bolton Wanderers. However, despite returning to his parent club, Beck's opportunities remained limited to a single first-team appearance in the 2023-2024 season.
Not one for stagnation, Beck once again found himself heading out on loan. This time, the destination was a bit closer to home - the Scottish Premiership side, Dundee, in July 2023. Beck's performance would impress, as in his debut season, he secured 25 first-team appearances and managed to find the back of the net twice.
In a feeling that was starting to become all too familiar for the young Welshman, January 2024 saw Beck returning to Liverpool, following the end of his loan spell with Dundee. Again in Liverpool, Beck added just a single first-team appearance in the 2023-2024 season to his count.
By now, Dundee had become somewhat of a second home for Beck. A fact further solidified when he once again transferred back to the Scottish side on loan in January 2024. Here he duplicated his previous success, making another 25 first-team appearances and scoring two more goals.
As was turned into tradition at this point, Beck returned to Liverpool when his loan spell ended in June 2024. This again saw him being limited to just one first-team appearance in league matches for the 2023-2024 season.
Currently, in the 2024-2025 season, Beck has found himself with Blackburn Rovers in the English Championship. The change seems to have done him well, despite it being yet another loan, as he's already made three first-team appearances in league matches at Blackburn.
