Olivier Ntcham, born 9 February 1996 in France, is currently plying his trade as a central midfielder for Samsunspor. Standing at around 5 feet 10 inches (1.8m) and weighting in roughly 12 stone 8 pounds (80kg), Ntcham is a solid presence in the midfield often adorned with the number 10 jersey.
His career moved from England to Italy in July 2015 when he transitioned from Manchester City to Genoa on loan, whereby in his debut season (2015-2016) he made 17 appearances. Faring slightly better in the 2016-2017 season, Ntcham increased his tally to 20 appearances and scored three goals.
A new chapter in Ntcham's career was written in July 2017 as he was transferred from Manchester City to Celtic in Scotland, for a reported £4.5m. In his first season (2017-2018) at Celtic, he made an appreciable impact with 29 appearances and five goals. Progressing further in 2018-2019, he maintained his regular position, with 20 appearances and three goals. Subsequent seasons saw him with 23 appearances in 2019-2020 season and 14 appearances the following season.
Ntcham's career took him back to his native France in February 2021, when he was loaned to Marseille. His stint in Ligue 1 was rather short, with only four appearances in the remaining 2020-2021 season.
Returning back to Britain in September 2021, Ntcham was transferred from Celtic to Swansea City in England. He made a total of 37 appearances and scored four goals in the 2021-2022 season, followed by an even more prolific subsequent season with 41 appearances and eight goals.
In recent history, Ntcham journeyed from Swansea City to Samsunspor in the Süper Lig in Turkey in August 2023. His initial season witnessed him make 27 appearances, matching it with six goals. Building on the momentum, he made 32 appearances with another six goals in the 2024-2025 season. At present, in the 2025-2026 season, he has already set foot on the pitch ten times.
It is also worth noting, according to Transfermarkt, that Ntcham has represented Samsunspor in the Europa League Qualifiers 2025-2026 with two starts, and in the Conference League 2025-2026 with one start. Clearly, Ntcham's career continues to move in an upward trajectory.
