Nikolas Polster is an Austrian goalkeeper, born on 7 July 2002 (age 23), now a regular first-team presence with Wolfsberger AC.
His senior football began to take shape at LASK Juniors OÖ, where he made 13 league appearances in 2020-21. For a young goalkeeper, that sort of early exposure matters more than any tidy line about goals scored, which in his case is naturally irrelevant.
At Wolfsberger, Polster has held down a proper role rather than hovering around the squad. In 2025-26 he has made 27 Bundesliga appearances, with further outings in Europa League and Conference League qualifying. His form this season has been solid and consistent, which is generally what clubs want from a goalkeeper before anyone starts getting carried away.
He was linked with a move to Celtic in May 2026 while at Wolfsberger AC.
Polster’s career is still at a relatively early stage, but he has moved from youth development into regular senior football and remains part of the Wolfsberger side in 2025-26.
