Nick Suman, a native of Australia born on 28 February 2000, commands the goal for Aberdeen F.C. as their trustworthy goalkeeper. At the age of 25, he stands tall and imposing at 6ft 5in (1.97m) and weighs a solid 13st 9lb (87kg). Sporting the number 13 jersey, his presence is a formidable one in the goalmouth.
Suman cut his teeth in the football world with Western Sydney Wanderers in his home country. He made a total of five appearances for the senior team during his time with them from 2018 to 2020. His debut season in 2018-2019 saw him taking to the pitch on four occasions, while his second season saw somewhat reduced game time with just a solitary appearance.
Building from that experience, he moved on to Australia’s Macarthur FC for the 2021-2023 seasons. Suman witnessed a consistent wave of action, making his mark in three matches in each season.
The start of the 2025-2026 season saw him venture to unfamiliar shores, joining Aberdeen F.C. The season so far has been one of observation and adaptation for Suman, as he has not made any appearances for the Scottish outfit yet.
It remains to be seen how this capable goalkeeper will fare in the intense football environment of Scotland. One can only wish good things for our Australian incumbent in the seasons to come.
