Nick Pope, born on 19 April 1992 in England, is a revered goalkeeper currently playing for Newcastle United, donning the number 22 jersey. The 33-year-old goalie stands at an imposing height of 6ft 3in (1.91m) and weighs in at around 11st 13lb (76kg). Over his illustrious career, he's also represented the England national team.

Pope’s professional journey began at Bury Town in England's Lower Leagues. In May 2011, he transferred to Charlton Athletic and made an initial 33 league appearances spanning three seasons. As part of his development, Charlton loaned him out to several teams including Cambridge United and Aldershot Town in 2013, York City in 2014, and Bury in 2015. During these different spells, Pope accumulated precious game time which undoubtedly contributed to his maturation as a goalkeeper.
After his development cycle with Charlton Athletic, a big move awaited Pope. In July 2016, for a fee rounding off to approximately £1.1m, Pope transferred from Charlton to the Premier League side, Burnley.
