Mykola Kukharevych, a Ukrainian-born striker, was born on 1 July 2001, making him currently 23 years old. He plays as a forward for Hibernian and dons the number 99 jersey. With a figure standing at 1.93m (6ft 3in) and weighing 79kg (12st 6lb), he undoubtedly has a towering presence on the field.
His journey began in Ukraine, when he joined Volyn Lutsk in the Persha Liha as a trainee in July 2014. Kukharevych made a noteworthy impression, leading to his transfer from Volyn Lutsk to Rukh Lviv in Ukraine's Premier League in February 2020. In his debut season, he made six first team appearances and scored two goals. He continued this form into the next season, making 18 appearances and securing the same number of goals.
In July 2021, Kukharevych moved from Ukraine to France, transferring to Troyes in France's Ligue 2, for an undisclosed fee. His spell there was brief as he was loaned out to Oud-Heverlee Leuven in Belgium's Pro League barely a month later. Across two seasons with the Belgian club, he made a total of ten appearances.
Scotland became his next destination in September 2022 when he was loaned out to Hibernian in the Scottish Premiership. Season 2022 - 2023 saw him make 15 appearances with five goals to his name. Continuing his form, in the current season, 2024 - 2025, Kukharevych has impressively recorded 24 appearances and five goals in league matches so far.
Staying true to the nomadic nature of his career, in July 2023, Kukharevych transferred to Swansea City in England's Championship league from France's Troyes for an undisclosed fee. His stint in Swansea saw him participate in ten matches, recording a single goal. Come August 2024, Kukharevych was on the move again, marking his return to Scotland by being loaned back to Hibernian from Swansea. Rejoining Hibernian, he put in an impressive run of games during the 2022 - 2023 season and continuing into the current 2024 - 2025 season.
Unafraid of the big stage, Kukharevych also showcased his talent in the League Cup 2024 - 2025 with Hibernian, scoring one goal in one start, and the Scottish Cup 2024 - 2025, with two starts for his team. It seems clear that Mykola Kukharevych is a name to look out for in the Scottish football sphere.
