Born on the 1st of July 2001, the Ukrainian Mykola Kukharevych is a forward who currently applies his trade as a striker for Hibernian in the Scottish Premiership. Standing tall at 6ft 3in (1.93m) and weighing in at 12st 6lb (79kg), Kukharevych is a known figure on the field sporting the number 99 jersey.
Kukharevych's journey in football began in 2014, as a trainee for Volyn Lutsk in Ukraine's Persha Liha. His commitment in Lutsk resulted in a move to Rukh Lviv in the Ukrainian Premier League in February 2020. Amidst a debut season in 2019 - 2020 at Rukh Lviv, Kukharevych graced the pitch in six first-team appearances scoring two goals in the league matches. The following season, he made 18 first team appearances and netted two more league goals.
In July 2021, Kukharevych made a move to Troyes, a club that competes in Ligue 2 in France. However, his tenure there saw him making just two first team appearances. By August 2021, Kukharevych found himself on loan in Belgium's Pro League, playing for Oud-Heverlee Leuven. Here, he participated in ten first team matches over two seasons 2021 - 2022 and 2022 - 2023.
September 2022 witnessed Kukharevych moving on loan from Troyes to Hibernian in Scotland. In the season 2022 - 2023 he made 15 first team appearances and netted five goals for the hibs in league matches. In the current season 2024 - 2025, he has shown his prowess on the pitch, making 15 first team appearances and scoring thrice in league matches.
However, amidst his time with Hibernian, Kukharevych had also transferred to Swansea City in the English Championship in 2023. He managed ten first team outings for Swansea and added another goal to his career tally in the 2023 - 2024 season.
Kukharevych returned to Hibernian on loan from Swansea City in August 2024. Mirroring his previous season's performance, he amassed 15 first team outings and netted five goals. He has continued in good form in the current 2024 - 2025 season with 15 games and three goals. Notably, he has also made his presence felt in League Cup 2024 - 2025 for Hibernian, with an impressive record of a goal from only one start, and two starts in the Scottish Cup 2024 - 2025 for Hibernian.
