Morgan Rogers, born 26 July 2002 (age 24), is an English central attacking midfielder with a market value of around £34m, according to Transfermarkt.
The main weight of his club career has come at Aston Villa, where he has made 85 league appearances across three seasons and scored 21 goals. That is the spell with substance: regular football, a clear attacking return, and enough output to move him beyond the usual “promising” label.
His 2025-26 season has kept him relevant in the first team. He has made 37 Premier League appearances and scored 10 goals, his strongest league return, with another goal coming in two FA Cup appearances. Across all competitions for Chelsea this season, he has 39 appearances and 11 goals.
He has also been involved with England, making seven World Cup appearances and eight in European qualifying. The career, at this stage, is shaped chiefly by his Aston Villa spell, with Chelsea now giving him regular football at a high level.
