Michael Ruth

Michael Ruth has made 8 Championship 2026 - 2027 appearances (seven starts, one substitute) and scored 2 goals, and he has added 2 goals from 4 League Cup appearances; he has also received one yellow card. Those numbers indicate a rotated striker role at Queen's Park who contributes across league and cup rather than acting as a single prolific source of goals.

Ruth's career progressed through a series of Scottish clubs, with early loan spells from Aberdeen to Falkirk in September 2021 and January 2022 before a sequence of permanent moves; he spent time with Queen of the South and Dumbarton and then joined Queen's Park. His trajectory involved short-term loans followed by free transfers, consistent with a player establishing himself across the Scottish lower-league system before consolidating at Queen's Park.

Permanent moves in Ruth's career have been completed as free transfers – Aberdeen to Queen of the South in July 2022, Queen of the South to Dumbarton in July 2023, and Dumbarton to Queen's Park in July 2025 – and his earlier playing time included two loan spells from Aberdeen to Falkirk in September 2021 and January 2022. The pattern of loans and free transfers points to lateral movement between clubs rather than high-fee transfers.
