Born on 15 April 2002 (age 23) in Denmark, Mathias Kvistgaarden is a forward who is predominantly deployed as a striker for Norwich City. Standing at 5ft 8in (1.75m) tall and weighing in at 10st 9lb (68kg), Kvistgaarden has also earned his stripes on an international level, having represented the Denmark U21 national team.

Following his debut season (2020 - 2021) at Brondby, he made two first-team appearances in league matches. From here, he continued to make his mark in Danish football, stepping up his game each season. The fruitful stretch at Brondby paved the way for a transfer to England, with Kvistgaarden making the move to Norwich City in the Championship in July 2025, in a transfer that cost the English side around £6.9m.
