Born on June 14th, 1985, in Germany, Marvin Compper is best known as a robust central defender. At 6 ft (1.85m) tall and 12 stone 3 lb (78kg) in weight, he is undoubtedly an imposing figure on the pitch. His footballing journey commenced in earnest in July 2003, becoming a trainee at Borussia Monchengladbach in the Bundesliga.
This represented a period of growth as he went from making five first team appearances in the 2005-2006 season, 23 appearances in the 2006-2007 season and three appearances during the 2007-2008 season.

He left the Scottish giants in July of 2019 to MSV Duisburg in the Regionalliga West, Germany, for an undisclosed fee, making 23 appearances and scoring one goal in the 2019-2020 season.
