Born on 18 June 1995 (age 30), Mario Hermoso, a Spaniard hailing from the city of Madrid is a stalwart of defensive football who currently represents AS Roma in Italy's Serie A. With a frame that stretches 6ft tall (1.84m) and weighing in at 11st 9lb (74kg), Hermoso dons the number 22 jersey.

In July 2015, Hermoso was transferred from Real Madrid B in Spain's Second Division B/1, to Real Valladolid in the Segunda División on loan.
