Manu Koné, born on 17 May 2001 in France, now aged 24, currently plies his trade at Roma, playing primarily as a central midfielder. This lad stands at 6ft (1.85m) and weighs in at 12st 8lb (80kg). Koné embarked on his professional career in July 2016, joining French side Toulouse in the Ligue 1 as a trainee. In his maiden 2018 - 2019 season, he made one solitary first team appearance in league matches. He managed 13 first team appearances in the 2019 - 2020 season before upping his game significantly in the 2020 - 2021 season by making 36 first team appearances and notching three goals.
In July 2021, Borussia Monchengladbach in the Bundesliga took notice and transferred Koné from Toulouse in a deal worth around £8m.
