Łukasz Skorupski, born on the 5th of May 1991 in Poland, presently tends goal for Bologna. Standing tall at 1.87m (6ft 1in) and with a robust weight of 84kg (13st 3lb), he stands as a formidable presence between the posts, donning the number 1 jersey. Skorupski embarked on his professional journey with Gornik Zabrze in the Ekstraklasa in Poland in July 2008. The 2011-2012 season marked his debut when he made 27 appearances in league matches and continued to be a mainstay in the 2012-2013 season, significantly adding another 29 appearances to his tally.
In June 2011, the gentleman returned to Gornik Zabrze after completion of his loan, showing splendid form by once again making 27 appearances in the 2011-2012 season and 29 in the 2012-2013 season.

July 2018 saw him transfer from Roma to Bologna for a hefty fee of around £8.1m, where he would continue to shine bright. His stints at Bologna saw him deliver consistent performances with countless appearances in each subsequent season, the exact numbers being: 38 (2018-2019), 37 (2019-2020), 28 (2020-2021), 36 (2021-2022), 37 (2022-2023), 32 (2023-2024), 27 (2024-2025), with ongoing appearances in the current season tallying at ten thus far.
Apart from club football, Skorupski has also been notably involved in several international fixtures, with 6 starts in the World Cup Qualifiers Europe 2024 - 2026 for Poland, 3 starts in the Nations League 2024 - 2025 for Poland, and 5 starts in the Europa League 2025 - 2026 for Bologna.
