Our man Lukas Fadinger was birthed on 27 September 2000. The midfielder hails fro Austria and his primary role is in the centre of the park. Fadinger began his professional journey as a trainee with Sturm Graz in the Austrian Bundesliga back in July 2015. His debut season in 2017-2018 was a humble one, as he managed only a pair of league appearances. The year 2019 witnessed a significant change in Fadinger's career, with a loan move to SV Lafnitz in Austria. It was a prolific spell with 24 appearances and a pair of goals to his name in the 2019-2020 season. He followed this up with 16 appearances and an equal number of goals the following season. The season of 2021-2022 proved to be his best with 22 appearances and 5 goals to his name.
In September 2020, a new challenge appeared in the form of TSV Hartberg of the Austrian Bundesliga. His stint, which lasted until 2023, saw Fadinger make 30 appearances and score twice. It was then back to SV Lafnitz in January 2021 for another loan spell, where he mirrored his previous stats with 24 appearances and 2 goals. A triple return was on the cards, with Lafnitz welcoming back Fadinger in the 2021-2022 season, where he managed 22 appearances and hit the net five times.
Returning from loan in June 2022, Fadinger went back to TSV Hartberg, appearing 30 times and scoring twice during the 2022-2023 season. A transfer occurred in July 2023, this time to SCR Altach of the Austrian Bundesliga. Fadinger delivered sterling service, with 31 appearances and three goals in his debut season, followed by a consistent 25 appearances the next.
Leaving Austria behind, Fadinger penned a deal with Motherwell of the Scottish Premiership in July 2025. So far in the 2025-2026 season, he's tallied an impressive 23 league appearances and a single goal. In addition to his league duties, Fadinger also turned out for Motherwell in the League Cup and the Scottish Cup, managing a total of seven starts with two goals, and a solitary substitute appearance respectively.
