Born in Honduras, on the 17 January 2000, Luis Palma, now 25 years old, is a forward predominantly positioned as a left winger for Olympiacos. Of relatively average statue for a player in his role, he stands at 5ft 8in (1.75m) and tips the scales at 11st 2lb (71kg). He dons the number 50 on his jersey. His skills have also earned him the opportunity to play for his home country, representing the Honduras national team on the international stage.
Palma's journey through professional football started in his home country, where he played for Vida in the Honduran league. The breakout point of his career, however, came in January 2022 when he transferred from Vida to Aris FC, a team in the Greek Super League. Although the exact figure of the transfer fee remains undisclosed, his performance at Aris FC quickly justified whatever sum was paid. During his debut season (2021-2022), he made 11 first team appearances, scoring two goals. His second season saw a significant leap in performance, where he registered 29 appearances and slotted 11 goals into the back of the net.
It was not long before Palma's talent was noticed by Scottish powerhouse, Celtic FC. In August 2023, the Scottish Premiership club secured his transfer from Aris FC for a fee around £3.4m. Palma made his mark in just his first season at Celtic, clocking 28 first team appearances and tallying seven goals. In the 2024-2025 season, he was a consistent figure in the team's line up with eight appearances to his record before fate took you somewhere else.
As part of a loan deal, Palma left Celtic for Olympiacos, a club in Greece’s Super League, in February 2025. So far, within the ongoing season at Olympiacos, he’s registered two first team appearances.
