Honduran forward Luis Palma, born on 17 January 2000, currently plies his trade as a left winger for Lech Poznan in Poland. Standing at 5ft 8in (1.75m) and weighing 11st 2lb (71kg), Palma has had quite a journey in his career. Not only is he representing his club at the highest level, but he also wears the colours of the Honduras national team, and carries the responsibility of the number 77 jersey.
With an estimated market value of around Β£2.5m according to Transfermarkt, Palma's contract with Lech Poznan is expected to come to an end on 30 June 2026.
Palma's journey through the world of football has been quite dynamic. The first significant transfer in his career came in January 2022, when he moved from Vida in Honduras to Aris FC in Greece. During his time at Aris, Palma made 41 league appearances and scored 13 goals. His stay at Aris came to an end in August 2023, when he transferred to Celtic in the Scottish Premiership. The transfer deal was agreed for around Β£3.4m.
Palma's time at Celtic was marked by 36 first team appearances and seven goals scored in league matches. His stay in Scotland was interrupted in February 2025, however, when he was loaned out to Olympiacos, returning to Celtic at the end of his loan period in June 2025.
In July 2025, Palma embarked on another loan spell - this time to Lech Poznan in Poland's Ekstraklasa. The current 2025 - 2026 season has seen him make two first team league appearances. And, despite a relatively short stay so far, he has already made his mark at Lech Poznan, with an appearance in the Champions League Qualifiers 2025 - 2026 under his belt.
Regardless of where his footballing journey takes him next, one thing is for sure - Luis Palma has left an indelible mark at each club he has represented, and long may his journey continue.
