Honduran forward Luis Palma, born on 17 January 2000, currently graces the pitch for Lech Poznan as their number 77. Standing at 5ft 8in (1.75m) and weighing 11st 2lb (71kg), he primarily plays as a left winger but has also represented the Honduras national team.
According to Transfermarkt, Palma's current market value is estimated to be around £2.5m.
In January 2022, he transferred from Vida in the League Teams in Honduras to Greece’s Aris FC in the Super League for a fee that remains undisclosed. He made a total of 41 first team appearances and scored 13 goals in league matches during his time there.
Palma’s journey then brought him to Scotland, as he signed for Celtic in August 2023 for a fee of around £3.4m. During the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 season, Palma made a total of 36 appearances in Celtic's green and white, scoring seven goals in his debut season.
A notable loan spell at Olympiacos in Greece followed in February 2025, where Palma added eight more first team league appearances to his name. Upon the completion of his loan in June 2025, he returned to Celtic for a brief period before being loaned out to Lech Poznan in Poland's Ekstraklasa in July 2025.
Now, in the 2025-2026 season at Lech Poznan, Palma has made nine first team appearances and scored three goals in league matches. He has also participated in Europa League Qualifiers, Champions League Qualifiers and the Conference League, with noteworthy performances that yielded one goal from a total of six appearances.
Despite being Honduran by birth, it was with Celtic that Palma carved out a significant chunk of his football career, especially during those two seasons, which saw him demonstrating his potential as an intriguing left winger.
