Louie Barry, born on 21 June 2003, is a 21-year old English forward currently playing for Hull City. He primarily plays as a left winger. He dons the number 22 jersey. Standing at 5ft 8in (1.74m) and weighing 10st 3lb (65kg), he's a compact player who is often found nipping down the flank.
His current market value, according to Transfermarkt, is estimated to be around £1.5m. His current contract with Hull City is relatively short and is expected to lapse on 31 May 2025.
Beginning his career as a trainee at Aston Villa in the Premier League, Barry joined their academy in July 2020. He would later embark on a series of loan stints to different clubs in the English football pyramid. His initial loan move was to Ipswich Town, which came in August 2021 followed by another move to Swindon Town in January of 2022.
July of 2022 saw Barry being loaned to MK Dons, where he scored once in 22 appearances in his debut season. Barry was shipped out on loan yet again in January 2023, this time to Salford City where he added another goal to his tally in nine appearances. After his return to Villa from Salford City, Barry went out on loan to Stockport County in July 2023.
This series of loans continued, as Barry returned to Villa only to be loaned back to Stockport County in August 2024. Upon completion of his second spell at Stockport, Barry returned to Aston Villa yet again in January 2025.
However, the current season has seen him take a new turn in his career. Barry joined Hull City, a championship side, on loan in January 2025. So far, the winger has notched up four appearances in the league for his new club.
