Born in Scotland on the 23rd of August, 1996, Liam Henderson is a professional footballer, currently 29 years of age. He plies his trade primarily as a central defensive midfielder for Falkirk. Standing at a formidable height of 6 foot 3 inches (1.91m), this lad possesses a sturdy physique, weighing at around 12 stones 1 pound (77kg). When on the field, you can spot Henderson donning the number 5 jersey.
As per the figures available on Transfermarkt, Henderson's market value is approximately £85,000.
Throughout his career, Henderson has moved around a bit. In July 2015, he left Hearts, then plying their trade in Premiership in Scotland, and popped up at Stenhousemuir in League One on a loan deal. During his debut season (2015 - 2016) at Stenhousemuir, he featured in a total of 11 first team matches and managed to net a goal.
After his loan spell, he transferred from Hearts to Falkirk in the Scottish Premiership in July 2016. Henderson then had a bit of a stint at Cowdenbeath in the Lowland league on loan in early 2017 before returning to Falkirk. He featured in 17 games for Cowdenbeath during the 2016 - 2017 campaign.
Henderson briefly headed out on another loan spell in November 2017, this time to Edinburgh City, a League Two club. In that season (2017 - 2018), he adorned the Edinburgh City jersey 7 times in league matches. Remarkably, Henderson made this move a permanant one in January 2018, outlasting the term of his loan contract.
Just as Henderson seemed to get settled, that Australian adventure bug bit him and he transferred from Edinburgh City to Stirling Lions in the NPL in Australia in early-2018. But before long, he returned to Edinburgh City in August 2018, this time for an undisclosed fee.
After a few years of to and fro, Henderson eventually moved on from Edinburgh City and switched to Arbroath in the Championship in July 2021. But that didn't last long either. A year later, in July 2022, he found his way back to Falkirk in the Premiership. Over the past few seasons at Falkirk, Henderson has been quite productive. He made 22 first team appearances in the 2022 - 2023 season, scoring two goals, while in the 2024 - 2025 season, he upped his game and managed to score six goals across 35 first team appearances. So far in the current term (2025 - 2026), he has featured 23 times for Falkirk and scored once.
This season, our lad also appeared on the pitch for Falkirk in the League Cup five times and made a single outing in the Scottish Cup.
