Lewis Jamieson, born 17th April 2002, is a Scottish footballer who specialises as a striker. At the age of 22, Jamieson is currently demonstrating his football finesse at Raith Rovers, adorning the number 24 jersey. He stands at a height of roughly 5ft 6in (1.7m) and weighs in at a sturdy 11st (70kg).
In July 2018, as a sprightly sixteen-year-old, Jamieson began his professional football journey at St Mirren in the Premiership of Scotland, joining as a trainee. He was slowly introduced into the first team, with his debut season in 2020-21 featuring two first team appearances in league matches.
Following successful stints at St Mirren, Jamieson was loaned to Clyde in Scotland's League Two in March 2021. However, he returned to St Mirren in June 2021 after the completion of his loan. For a young player, loans were commonplace, so a subsequent transfer occurred in July 2021 where he was loaned to Inverness CT in League One. He then transferred back to Clyde in January 2022 before finally returning to St Mirren in June the same year.
While at St Mirren, Jamieson had orchestrated a commendable accumulation of appearances; he made seven first team appearances in league matches during the 2022-23 season and upped the ante in the following 2023-24 season with nineteen appearances, netting one goal. However, in July 2022, Jamieson braved another loan transition, this time to Airdrieonians in the Championship. During the 2022-23 season at Airdrieonians, he made eighteen first-team appearances and netted a substantial eight goals.
Unable to resist the bright lights of his initial club, Jamieson once again returned to St Mirren in the Premiership following the completion of his loan in January 2023. Despite having taken the scenic route in his career thus far, Jamieson's resilience seemed to pay off when, in August 2024, he transferred to Raith Rovers in the Championship. Shining in the current 2024-25 season, Jamieson has already made six first-team appearances in league matches - and counting. It's clear to see Lewis Jamieson has woven quite the intricate tapestry of experience throughout his promising football career.
