Leroy Sané, born 11 January 1996 (age 30), is a Germany international and a right winger for Galatasaray, where he wears the number 10 shirt. His current market value is around £38.5m, according to Transfermarkt.
Sané came through at Schalke before moving to Manchester City, where his pace and left-footed delivery made him a dangerous wide player in a side that usually had plenty of the ball. He later joined Bayern Munich, and his most productive league season came there in 2024–25, when he scored 11 goals in 30 appearances.
His move to Galatasaray has not turned him into a decorative signing. In 2025–26 he remains a regular first-team presence, with 40 appearances and seven goals across all competitions, including 28 Süper Lig appearances, 10 in the Champions League and two in the Süper Kupa.
He has also continued to feature for Germany this season, scoring twice in two European World Cup qualifiers and making one World Cup appearance. His career now runs from Schalke to City, Bayern and Galatasaray, with his current role still that of a senior attacking player in regular use.
